Jack Owen - 2022 Swine Production National Finalist

PROFICIENCY AWARD PROGRAM
Agricultural Proficiency Awards honor FFA members who, through supervised agricultural experiences, have developed specialized skills that they can apply toward their future careers.

Students can compete for awards in 47 areas ranging from agricultural communications to wildlife management. Proficiency awards are recognized at local, State and National levels and provide recognition to members that are exploring and becoming established in agricultural career pathways.

A student may apply in an unlimited number of areas each year but may only submit one state winning application for National consideration each year. A student may apply again in any area not submitted for National consideration.

State proficiency award applications are due via AET submission list by March 18, 2024. State winners receive a plaque, a pin and a $300 award.
