Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) focuses on helping chapter officers understand their role and feel motivated to take opportunities that come their way while serving as an officer.
Dates: August COLT will be held August 28-29, 2026 and May COLT will be held May 7-8, 2027.
Where: August COLT will be held at the Springhill Suites Gilbert and ASU Polytechnic Campus.
Meals: Dinner on Friday is included for all attendees. Breakfast on Saturday is included for attendees staying overnight. Students should arrive on Friday haven already eaten lunch!
Cost: $75 with a hotel, $50 without a hotel.
Advisor/Chaperone Hotel: $159
Lodging: Students who are registered with an overnight stay will include lodging at the conference hotel. While attempts are made to keep students from the same chapter together, students will be roomed with students of the same gender from other chapters to meet room capacity.
Dress: Students should wear FFA Official Dress on Friday and school appropriate casual attire on Saturday
Registration: Registration is due on August 19 or earlier should capacity limits be reached.

Middle School Attendance
Middle school students will be permitted to attend only if the following criteria are met:
- The Advisor stays on site and agrees to chaperone their own students.
- For those wishing to stay the night: Middle school students will only be roomed with other students from their chapter. If a room is not at capacity the chapter must agree to pay the room in full (at a rate of $35 per open space). Please contact Bethany (bethany.matos@azed.gov) for a quote.
